Sometimes They Just Don’t Go As Planned

Parent/Teacher conferences are just part of the teaching landscape. As a teacher I try to visit with parents and let them know how their best and brightest are doing in class, how they can help their child and if need be, what problems there may be. Ideally, conferences are congenial affairs. Sometimes they go as planned and may take just a few minutes. Then, sometimes they just don’t go as planned. In fact, ……well…….you just wonder why you bothered and got out of bed that day.
